CHARGE LPN/RN NURSE - On Call

Location:  Resthaven Care Center
Responsibilities: Provides direct nursing services in caring for sub-acute, convalescent, and chronic residents.

Position Requirements: Graduate from accredited RN or LPN program with possession of current license from Michigan Board of Nursing to practice as an RN or LPN.

RN Charge Nurse -Full-time 60hrs bi-weekly, 2nd Shift

Location:  Resthaven Care Center
Responsibilities: Provides direct nursing services in caring for sub-acute, convalescent, and chronic residents.

Position Requirements: Graduate from accredited RN program with possession of current RN license from Michigan Board of Nursing.

RN CASE MANAGER - Full-time or Part-time

Location:  Resthaven At Home

Resthaven At Home, providing seniors with expert, personalized, medical home care services in the comfort of their own home, has an exceptional opportunity as we grow! 

Responsibilities: This talented individual will plan, organize, and direct home care services for Medicare certified programs with an emphasis on education and community health resources.

Position Requirements:  RN license in Michigan and valid driver’s license are required, along with excellent adult assessment and nursing skills, strong clinical and communication skills, and a sincere passion for the elderly.

CERTIFIED NURSES AIDE - Full-time, Part-time, or On Call

Location:  Resthaven Care Center
Responsibilities: Provide quality nursing care to residents in an environment that promotes their rights, dignity, freedom of choice, and individuality.

Position Requirements: Successful completion of an appropriate certificate Nurse Aide Training Program, and must maintain current certification according to Michigan and Federal regulations.

RESIDENT CARE AIDE or TRANSITIONAL CARE AIDE

Part Time - All Shifts

Part-Time openings providing direct care to residents at two distinctive senior living facilities. Qualified applicants must possess a caring heart and be skilled in providing assistance to the elderly with activities of daily living. Prior caregiving experience or training preferred.

DIETARY AIDE - Part-Time 25-30hrs bi-weekly, day shift hours with weekend rotation.

Location:  Maple Woods

Responsibilities:   Distribute food; wash dishes; clean up in kitchen and dining room; set up dining room; prepare beverages; stock pantries; perform related duties as assigned.

Position Requirements: Excellent communication and customer service skills required, prior food service experience a plus.

PREP COOK - Full-time, 75hrs bi-weekly, shift is 11 am - 7 pm

Location:  Care Center

Responsibilities: Assist Cook in preparation of meals and clean up of service areas, serve food and beverages to residents. 

Requirements: Understanding and working knowledge of food preparation techniques and modified diets, food service experience in a healthcare, restaurant, or institutional setting, and excellent communication and customer service skills.

TRAINEES FOR THE NURSE AIDE TRAINING PROGRAM

Trainees selected for the call must be available for three weeks during 1st shift hours.  Upon successful completion of the program the position will be at the Resthaven Care Center on the shift and unit that is available at that time.

Requirements: High School diploma or successful completion of GED test. Proficient interpersonal relations. Effective organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.  Previous care giving or elder care experience is preferred.
