Volunteers… Volunteers are the heart of Resthaven! Whether you would like to be a friendly visitor, work in the garden, or assist in the office, you can demonstrate love and compassion for the Elders at Resthaven. We all have gifts and skills that we can use to “honor our Fathers and our Mothers.” Do you enjoy a good conversation? Do you like repairing things? Do you like gardening? Do you have a special talent to share? Can you pray with or for another? Would you enjoy sharing a party or Bible study with our Elders? Our volunteers make long-lasting friendships and learn new skills; and volunteers often tell us that they receive at least as much joy as those they serve. The possibilities are endless. The potential for blessing others-as well as yourself- are unlimited. So, come and be a blessing! |
